About Monumental Honor
- Monumental Honor is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that sponsors scholarships, local art, and community service in Richmond, Virginia. Our mission is to honor the legacy of Richmond's nine Medal of Honor Recipients, unite the community, and develop the next generation of local leaders.
Role Description
- In this role, you'll create social media posts and manage/grow our social media engagement on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. You'll also assist with our quarterly newsletters and advertising campaigns. This role provides hands-on experience in nonprofit communication, mission-driven storytelling, and digital outreach and is a meaningful opportunity to make a direct impact at a small but growing nonprofit. Most of the work is autonomous, with occasional collaboration with senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Experience growing social media engagement across various platforms
- Strong written communication skills
- Current student or recent graduate in a related field is preferred but not required
Compensation
- This is a part-time role paying $200-$300/month, including performance incentives, with an estimated time commitment of 5 hours per week.
