R3 Recover is a premium mind and body recovery studio in La Jolla offering our signature R3 Flow, a 5-step recovery circuit including Normatec Compression, Infrared Sauna, Cold Plunge, Hot Plunge, and Red Light Therapy. How Your Week Is Structured
This role is designed so you truly know R3 from the inside out.
3 Days Per Week Wellness Concierge (On-Site at R3 La Jolla)
You'll work the floor as a Wellness Concierge, welcoming clients, guiding them through the R3 Flow, building genuine relationships with our community, and capturing content in real time. This is where your marketing knowledge comes to life, you'll know our clients, our culture, and our brand story because you're living it every day.
2 Days Per Week — Marketing, Events & Grassroots
Your dedicated marketing days are for content creation, executing campaigns, planning and attending local events, building community partnerships, and driving grassroots outreach across San Diego. This is where strategy meets the street.
What You'll Do
- Own and manage R3's social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms from content creation to community engagement
- Build authentic client relationships on the floor and capture real-time content that reflects the R3 experience
- Plan, coordinate, and execute R3 events, activations, and brand partnerships
- Build and manage email and SMS marketing campaigns using Klaviyo
- Develop content calendars and ensure consistent, on-brand storytelling
- Represent R3 at local events and grassroots marketing opportunities across San Diego
- Track performance metrics and use data to continuously improve results
- Collaborate with studio leadership on promotional campaigns, membership drives, and seasonal initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Genuine passion for wellness, fitness, or recovery — this isn't just a job to you, it's a lifestyle
- Hands-on experience with Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, or a similar email marketing platform
- Proven social media management experience with a strong eye for aesthetics and brand voice
- Experience planning and executing events, both in-person and promotional
- Strong written communication and copywriting skills
- A natural connector who thrives building relationships with clients and the local community
- Self-starter who can manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, small-team environment
- San Diego-based and available to work on-site at our La Jolla studio

Nice to Have
- Background in fitness, Pilates, yoga, or another wellness discipline
- Experience with Mindbody or similar studio management software
- Photography or video content creation skills
Compensation
- $60,000 annual salary
- Tiered commission structure based on membership level sold
