The role
We're looking for a part-time social media person who can manage the social presence across our ventures, by processing and publishing what we already have, keeping us on schedule, and knowing when and where to post it.
We have raw material. A lot of it. Street interview videos for Bridgit. Event photos from launch activities. Partnership announcements. A recorded book launch speech. LinkedIn posts that could be repurposed. What we don't have is someone keeping track of it all, turning it into a consistent publishing rhythm, and making sure the right content hits the right platform at the right time.
What you'd actually be doing
- Managing social content across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and potentially other platforms for multiple brands (Y·US Ventures, Bridgit, ForwardMedia, The Backstage, and possibly more).
- Editing and scheduling existing content - short-form video clips, photos, text posts
- Building and maintaining a content calendar across all accounts
- Knowing when we need something new and asking for it before we fall behind
- Repurposing content across platforms (a LinkedIn post becomes an Instagram story becomes a TikTok, etc.)
- Setting up and launching TikTok for Bridgit
- Understanding algorithms enough to know what works where and when to post
- Keeping the tone authentic and personal - our founder writes a book with profanity and real stories, our app is about real human connection. Nothing we put out should feel like corporate social media
What we're looking for
- Someone who understands social media strategy, not just scheduling tools - you know why a post works, not just how to publish it
- Experience managing multiple brands or accounts simultaneously
- Comfortable with short-form video editing (cutting clips, adding captions, basic formatting)
- Strong enough instincts to keep our voice personal and human across all content
- Self-directed - we won't be managing you day-to-day, you'll be managing us
- Based in Europe or North America timezones
This is NOT
- A content creation role where you write thought leadership posts
- A "post 3 times a day on every platform" role
- A junior social media internship - we need someone who's done this before and knows what works
