QNY Creative is hiring a Social Media Manager to support our growing social team and food-focused client work. We’re looking for someone who does not just manage social, they make content. You should be comfortable shooting on your phone, producing reels, interviewing people, spotting food trends early, working with influencers daily, and turning cultural moments into smart, brand-right content.
This role is ideal for someone who is obsessed with food, recipes, cooking, social trends, creators, restaurants, comment sections, and the way people discover, talk about, and share what they eat.
What You’ll Do
Develop and manage social content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and other key platforms
Create original content, including reels, short-form video, interviews, trend-led posts, and food-focused storytelling
Shoot content on-site, in-office, at events, with creators, and with brand partners
Write strong, brand-right social copy, captions, hooks, community responses, and content prompts
Build and manage content calendars across multiple food and lifestyle brands
Monitor social trends, food trends, creator trends, hashtags, formats, sounds, and comment culture
Support comment marketing strategies, including proactive engagement, community building, and real-time social listening
Work directly with influencers, content creators, chefs, talent, and brand partners
Identify emerging creators and recommend partnership opportunities
Engage daily with brand communities, including comments, DMs, tagged content, and relevant conversations
Track performance across growth, engagement, reach, saves, shares, video views, and other key KPIs
Use performance insights to optimize content and recommend what to do next
Collaborate with account, creative, strategy, and influencer teams to bring social ideas to life
Help maintain a consistent brand voice while adapting content for each platform
Who You Are
You are passionate about food, restaurants, cooking, ingredients, culture, and what people are talking about online
You are confident creating content yourself, not just briefing someone else to do it
You understand what makes a reel work, from the hook to the edit direction to the caption
You are highly active on TikTok, Instagram, and creator-led platforms
You are comfortable interviewing people and pulling out strong, usable social moments
You understand comment marketing and know how to make brands feel present, relevant, and human
You enjoy working with influencers and content creators daily
You are proactive, fast-moving, organized, and detail-oriented
You can juggle multiple brands, deadlines, content calendars, and approvals
You bring ideas to the table and are not waiting to be told what to post
Requirements
1 to 3 years of social media experience, ideally with food, beverage, hospitality, lifestyle, or agency clients
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and short-form video platforms
Experience creating reels, shooting social-first content, and developing platform-native ideas
Strong writing skills across captions, hooks, community responses, and social storytelling
Experience working with influencers, creators, or talent partnerships
Ability to analyze social performance and translate data into clear recommendations
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage content calendars and approvals
Basic photo and video production skills required
iPhone shooting experience required
Canva, CapCut, Adobe, or similar tools are a plus
Ai content creation a plus
Agency experience is a plus
Paid social experience is a plus

3-Month Contract:
$35 to $45/hour, depending on experience and content capability.
