This is not a media brand you will inherit. This is one you will create. As the inaugural Head of Media for Founders School, you will transform the everyday experiences of ambitious teenagers launching legitimate companies into content that reaches millions and motivates the next wave of young entrepreneurs.
Founders School is a highly selective New York high school where students do not merely learn about business — they launch functioning enterprises. Your role is to convert that reality into media: capturing student-founder achievements, live school programming, and quantifiable results, then packaging them into authentic, platform-optimized content that compels ambitious teenagers and their families to pause and engage.
You will control the entire cycle: identify the narrative, isolate the angle, develop the asset, publish it across channels, and refine the approach until it generates genuine admissions interest. If you define success through cultural impact and qualified inbound demand rather than surface-level metrics, this role is for you.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and publish cross-platform narrative assets derived from authentic student-founder achievements, documented progress, and school experiences designed to expand reach and fuel admissions pipeline
- Convert workshops, mentorship sessions, founder presentations, and student activities into educational content that demonstrates entrepreneurship principles while establishing credibility in the Founders School methodology
- Identify the most compelling and shareable segments from live Founders School programming, workshops, and guest speaker events, then repackage them as thought-leadership material for teenagers, parents, and industry contributors
- Guide students in audience development and personal storytelling, enabling them to become credible content creators and sustainable content sources
- Manage the full content lifecycle across distribution platforms: narrative discovery, hook formulation, production execution, channel distribution, and performance refinement
- Analyze engagement metrics on a weekly basis and methodically optimize content positioning, format selection, and distribution tactics according to proven performance
- Deploy AI solutions proactively throughout all workflow stages—research, scripting, editing, repurposing, and analytics—to sustain high-volume, high-caliber content output
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Drafting institutional messaging, overseeing enrollment marketing, or creating polished promotional materials that fail to generate organic sharing beyond internal audiences
- Executing a predefined content roadmap or implementing another person's media blueprint — you will architect the framework based on strategic conviction
- Chasing follower totals, posting cadence, or surface metrics detached from admissions pipeline growth and brand authority
- Producing isolated promotional efforts or event broadcasts without integrated post-event content distribution strategies
- Coordinating event operations or administrative school functions; your mandate is the narrative, not the logistics
Senior Content Producer Key Responsibilities
This position controls Founders School's complete outward-facing media presence and is responsible for constructing a proof-centered content system that positions Founders School as a nationally prominent entrepreneurial high school and produces 5,000 qualified inbound admissions inquiries within the first 12 months following launch.

- Operational AI-enhanced production process: ability to specify exact tools applied across research, scripting, editing, content repurposing, and performance analysis
- Verified experience coaching creators, entrepreneurs, students, or domain experts to develop engaging content and cultivate followings.
- Authentic conviction that teenagers possess the capacity to launch legitimate businesses and that entrepreneurship serves as a positive societal force
- Commitment to full-time, on-site work in New York, NY
- Authorization to work legally in the US

- Launched a personal or organizational audience from the ground up
- Background in documentary production, journalism, or content creation
- Prior collaboration with entrepreneurs or high-profile individuals
