The moment
This is a brand at an inflection point. A tech-advanced premium lifestyle platform built around the art of gathering: Curated products sought from around the world, storytelling, and experiences that inspire connection, ritual, and everyday celebration.Fully launching this Fall with an inspired brand direction and a new brand bible paving the way forward.
The Creative Director coming in now will be the first designer on the ground: Part executor, part director, part builder. You'll translate the new visual identity across every channel, art direct shoots, and over time grow a team of freelancers and collaborators around you. The role is as hands-on as it is strategic, collaborating with the owner founder, CEO and wider team across Marketing, B&M and all relevant divisions.
What you'll lead
Visual identity & brand language: Translate the incoming brand bible across every channel. Define and evolve the visual language; from type and colour to layout systems, ensureing consistency across all customer touchpoints.
Digital, email & ecommerce: Design and execute brand assets across email, social, ecommerce, and marketing campaigns. Support the website transformation to reflect the new brand direction and business strategy.
Art direction & shoots: Lead or support art direction for photo and video; both ecommerce and editorial. Develop moodboards, campaign concepts, and creative references that bring the brand world to life.
Team & partner building: Start as the sole creative and grow a network of freelancers and collaborators as the business scales. Partner closely with marketing, leadership, and external creative partners throughout.
Who we're looking for
10+ years across brand design, art direction, or creative direction. with a portfolio spanning both hands-on execution and conceptual work; background in premium lifestyle, hospitality, fashion, beauty, home, editorial, or multi-brand retail; excellent typography, layout, and visual storytelling skills: Your sensitive aesthetic, understanding of cultural nuances, premium lofestyle and craft is non-negotiable; strong understanding of photography, styling, and creative production; proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments: A self-starter who doesn't need a brief to arrive fully formed; curiosity around emerging creative and AI-assisted workflows is a genuine plus; NYC-based, with flexibility for on-site shoot days and collaboration as needed.
