We are seeking a talented and creative Print Designer to join our RTW Design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for print and pattern design, a keen eye for detail. The Freelance Apparel Print Designer will work closely with the Sr. Designer to develop a wide range of print designs, ensuring they align with our brand guidelines and meet the highest standards of quality. This will be to cover Maternity leave from June-October
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute print/graphic designs for RTW pieces
- Work closely with the team on a range of design challenges
- Align designs with brand guidelines and quality standards
- Contribute across design and production workflows
- Build and refine best practices for the role
- Report to the head designer with regular updates
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of fashion graphic/print design experience
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills, with a proven capacity to prioritize and perform time-sensitive tasks
- Strong understanding of design, proportion, and color theory
- Must be extremely detail-oriented, and be able to think strategically about both short and long-term solutions
- Possesses superior problem-solving, collaborative, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently as well within the team
- Excellent communicator who can effectively share creative insights across all the company's teams while reporting regularly to executive and senior management
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience)
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (PS, AI, ID, AE, and PR), Google Slides, Google Sheets, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Excel
- A portfolio presentation is expected; include the URL to the portfolio website
