Job Title: Social Media ManagerLocation: Atlanta, GA (In-Person, 9-5, 5 days/week)
Compensation: $40,000-$65,000 per year (Available as FTE or Contractor)

We are looking for a highly creative, self-driven Social Media Manager who wants to move fast, shape cultural conversations, and scale the digital presence of two major platforms in the athlete space.
The Company
We are NIL Club, the #1 NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) platform in the US, serving over 650,000 athletes. We've built a platform that puts real power directly into the hands of the next generation of sports creators, successfully partnering with top-tier brands like SoFi, Amazon, and UberEats.
Under our parent company, we are also launching AthleteMerch.com to give all athletes access to their own custom merchandise stores. We operate with high velocity and absolute focus, answering only to our athletes and our product vision.
The Role
As the lead social creator on the team, you will own the daily execution and growth across all major platforms for both NIL Club and Athletemerch.com. This is a role for a modern digital builder. You won’t spend weeks planning a single post; you will conceptualize, schedule, edit, and ship highly engaging content that resonates immediately.
- Own Multiple Brands: You will run the social accounts for both NIL Club and Athletemerch.com, establishing how they look, sound, and interact with athletes and fans.
- You Are the Content: You will be asked to make content featuring yourself to educate our users about the app’s benefits and functionalities. There will be an expectation of traveling to other locations in and around Atlanta possibly outside of traditional work hours to create content
- Drive Organic Growth: You will focus heavily on turning passive scrollers into active community members.
- High-Velocity & Trend-Driven Content: We move at the speed of sports and the internet. You will keep a constant pulse on campus trends and rapidly create, edit, and publish high-quality video content to capitalize on what college students are talking about right now.
- AI-Driven Workflows: You will leverage AI tools to scale your output. From generative AI for copywriting to AI-assisted video editing, you will use cutting-edge tools to punch above your weight class.
- In-Person Collaboration: We believe the best ideas happen in the room. You’ll work side-by-side with the founders and product team in our Atlanta office to align social strategy with live product launches.
What You Bring
- College Athlete & Campus Fluency: You have a deep understanding of the college student mindset, campus culture, and Gen Z internet trends. You know how to create content that feels native, authentic, and highly relatable to student-athletes.
- Organic Growth Expertise: You have a proven track record of organically scaling TikTok and Instagram accounts from the ground up, and you can speak to the metrics and strategies that got you there.
- Video Editing Chops: You are highly proficient in modern video editing tools and know how to edit for the algorithm (hooks, pacing, audio trends, format).
- Content Strategy: You are highly organized and experienced in managing social media calendars for multiple accounts simultaneously.
- A "Builder" Mindset: You love taking a vague concept, running with it autonomously, and turning it into a viral piece of content. You should be high agency and aggressive in your pursuit of great content.
- AI Tool Fluency: You actively build AI into your daily workflow to generate content, analyze trends, and optimize your posting strategies.
