About the Role
Minerva Beauty is seeking a creative, organized, and proactive Social Media Manager to lead the strategy and execution of our owned organic social media channels. This role will be responsible for growing brand awareness, engagement, community interaction, website traffic, and social-assisted revenue across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube.
This person will manage and execute content across Minerva Beauty’s primary social channels, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube, with a clear understanding that each platform requires its own strategy, creative approach, and audience engagement style.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on. They should be comfortable developing platform-specific content plans, appearing on camera, shooting and editing content, writing captions, analyzing performance, managing social communities, and bringing fresh, out-of-the-box ideas to life while staying aligned with Minerva Beauty’s brand identity and messaging.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Execution
- Lead the organic social media strategy and day-to-day execution across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube.
- Develop platform-specific content strategies that support brand awareness, engagement, website traffic, social-assisted revenue, and online sales.
- Manage a consistent organic content calendar, with content frequency and format tailored to each platform.
- Identify creative opportunities to increase engagement, reach, traffic, and customer interaction while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
- Support product launches, promotions, events, partnerships, and brand campaigns through thoughtful social media planning and execution.
- Collaborate with the Executive Vice President to align social media efforts with broader marketing, ecommerce, and business goals.
Content Creation
- Lead the creation of social-first content, including short-form video, static graphics, captions, hooks, scripts, storyboards, and campaign concepts.
- Create content directly when needed while also leveraging interns and internal creative resources to support content production.
- Be comfortable appearing on camera when it supports product education, behind-the-scenes storytelling, trend-based content, or brand personality.
- Shoot and edit social-first content as needed using tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
- Work with the Brand Specialist and Content Marketing Manager to ensure content is visually aligned, brand-right, and supportive of broader marketing initiatives.
- Turn showroom, product, customer, influencer, and behind-the-scenes content into engaging social campaigns.
Community Management
- Manage community engagement across comments, DMs, tagged posts, reviews, mentions, and customer questions.
- Maintain timely responses to social comments and DMs, with a focus on creating a helpful, responsive, and brand-right customer experience.
- Identify and collect user-generated content, customer stories, salon transformations, and product testimonials.
- Look for opportunities to deepen community engagement over time.
- Leverage social media interns to increase community engagement.
Influencer & Creator Relationship Management
- Manage day-to-day communication and follow-up with existing influencers and creators to help ensure agreed-upon deliverables are completed on time and aligned with brand expectations.
- Review and respond to inbound influencer, creator, and ambassador inquiries, escalating strong opportunities for internal review as needed.
- Track influencer content, deadlines, usage opportunities, and follow-through.
- Identify influencer and UGC content that can be repurposed across organic social, email, web, or paid media.
- Partner with internal team members as needed on product coordination and campaign support.
- Experience with affiliate, ambassador, or creator programs is a plus.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report on key social media metrics, including engagement rate, reach, follower growth, website traffic from social, and assisted revenue.
- Provide weekly performance updates and contribute to monthly and quarterly social media reviews.
- Use Dash Social, native platform analytics, and other available tools to evaluate content performance.
- Make data-informed recommendations for future content, platform strategy, and community engagement.
- Partner with the paid media team or manager to identify high-performing organic content that may be repurposed or boosted for paid promotion.
Qualifications
- 4–6+ years of social media, content marketing, community management, ecommerce, or related experience.
- Experience managing social media for a brand, preferably with ecommerce, furniture, interiors, beauty, salon, spa, or product-based experience.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to write captions, hooks, scripts, and social copy in a clear and engaging brand voice.
- Experience shooting and editing short-form video.
- Proficiency with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar creative tools.
- Experience using social media management and analytics platforms; Dash Social experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of community management and the role social media plays in customer experience.
- Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into action.
- Experience with influencer, creator, ambassador, or affiliate programs is a plus.
- Portfolio or examples of social content, campaigns, or brand channels preferred.

Work Environment
- This is a full-time, in-office role based in Monroe, Georgia. Minimal travel may be required for events, trade shows, customer visits, influencer content, or other brand-related opportunities.
