Digital Marketing Specialist (HubSpot Expert)
- Role Type: Full-Time Contract
- Duration: 3–6 Months (With strong potential to extend or convert)
- Location: Atlanta, GA
- Work Style: Hybrid (3 days a week onsite)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and execution-focused Digital Marketing Specialist for a full-time, 3-to-6-month contract role based in Atlanta, Georgia. This position features a hybrid schedule requiring three days a week onsite, providing an excellent opportunity to embed with an innovative creative team with strong potential for contract extension or permanent conversion.
The ideal candidate is a dual-threat marketer: a creative campaign strategist who is also a deeply technical power-user of HubSpot Marketing Hub. In this role, you will own the end-to-end execution of omnichannel digital campaigns, with a heavy emphasis on advanced Email and SMS marketing workflows. Beyond deployment, you will serve as the team’s data anchor—building trackers, diagnosing campaign attribution, reporting on conversion data, and translating raw HubSpot analytics into actionable growth insights.
Key Responsibilities
- HubSpot Campaign Architecture: Lead the build, deployment, and optimization of cross-channel digital marketing campaigns within HubSpot, ensuring flawless technical execution, audience segmentation, and delivery.
- Email & SMS Operations: Build dynamic lifecycle email layouts, write compelling copy components, set up complex multi-stage automated workflows, and manage native or integrated HubSpot SMS marketing streams to maximize open, click, and response rates.
- Analytics & Performance Tracking: Establish robust tracking parameters (UTM governance, tracking pixels) to monitor multi-touch attribution. Build, maintain, and present custom HubSpot dashboards tracking key metrics including conversion rates, list hygiene, pipeline contribution, and overall channel ROI.
- Audience Segmentation & Database Management: Manage and clean the HubSpot contact database. Create high-performing smart lists, behavioral triggers, and lifecycle stages to deliver highly personalized messaging tailored to specific buyer personas.
- A/B Testing & Optimization: Design and execute ongoing multivariate testing strategies for subject lines, content formats, CTA placements, send times, and SMS message length to systematically boost engagement metrics.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with creative, design, and content teams to gather campaign assets, align messaging, and provide continuous analytical feedback on asset performance based on back-end data.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5 years of dedicated digital marketing experience managing end-to-end multi-channel campaigns, with at least 2+ years of heavy, daily configuration experience inside HubSpot.
- HubSpot Expertise: Deep technical proficiency across HubSpot Marketing Hub, including workflows, sequence building, email design, list partition logic, and reporting dashboards. HubSpot Marketing Software Certification is strongly preferred.
- SMS Marketing Proficiency: Demonstrated experience deploying compliant, high-converting SMS/text marketing campaigns (via HubSpot native tools or integrations like Twilio, Sakari, or Kixie). Strong understanding of TCPA compliance guidelines.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Strong capabilities in campaign tracking and analytics. Must know how to build multi-touch attribution reports, decode conversion funnels, and use reporting to tell a story and recommend strategic shifts.
- Location Compatibility: Must be local to the Greater Atlanta area and able to work out of our Atlanta office 3 days per week.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for editing custom responsive email templates within HubSpot's design manager.
- Experience interfacing with CRM systems and ensuring seamless data synchronization between HubSpot and platforms like Salesforce or Workfront.
- Strong copy-editing abilities with an eye for high-converting hooks and localized messaging.
- Self-starter attitude with the agility required to manage multiple fast-moving timelines within a contract framework.
