Position Summary
TNM seeks a creative, organized, and reliable Social Media Coordinator to manage its Facebook and Instagram presence. Working directly with the Executive Director and Marketing Advisor, the coordinator will help promote TNM programs, engage audiences, and increase organizational visibility through compelling social media content.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage TNM's Facebook and Instagram accounts.
- Maintain and implement a social media content calendar.
- Create, schedule, and publish posts, stories, reels, and short-form video content.
- Adapt TNM-provided copy, graphics, photos, and branding assets for social media use.
- Promote concerts, festivals, educational programs, interviews, competitions, and fundraising campaigns.
- Monitor audience engagement and respond to comments and messages as appropriate.
- Attend selected events to capture photos, video, and live content when requested.
- Track engagement metrics and provide a brief monthly report.
Time Commitment
Approximately 5–10 hours per week. Hours may increase during festivals, major performances, fundraising campaigns, and special projects. Some evening and weekend availability is required for selected events.
Qualifications
- Experience managing social media accounts.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Experience with Canva or similar design tools.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Interest in music, arts, or nonprofit organizations.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Photography, video editing, or Instagram Reel creation experience.
- Familiarity with social media analytics and digital advertising.

Independent Contractor Status
This position is structured as an independent contractor engagement. The contractor is responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and business expenses.
