About the Role:
We are seeking a temporary freelance Designer to contribute to the Rebecca Taylor women’s apparel collections. This role is ideal for a designer with 3+ years of experience working within the contemporary or premium fashion market, with a strong proficiency in sketching and tech packing. This role will start ASAP.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with the Designer and Design Director to develop and execute women’s apparel collections that align with the brand aesthetic and commercial goals
· Create and refine croqui sketches, CADs, and technical flats
· Create tech packs in excel including BOM & construction details
· Assist in preparing and presenting designs during internal design reviews
Qualifications & Skills:
· Minimum 3 years of experience in women’s contemporary or premium apparel design.
· Proficiency in Procreate, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
· Highly organized with excellent time management skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
