Our client, a popular retail brand, is looking for a dependable freelance associate technical designer to join their Los Angeles, CA team!

Responsibilities:

Develop technical specifications: Create detailed tech packs including construction details, specifications, and bill of materials (BOMs).
Ensure proper fit: Lead fittings and provide feedback on drape, fit, and proportions.
Collaborate with others: Work with designers, production teams, and factories to ensure that each design is executed accurately.
Troubleshoot issues: Identify and resolve fit and construction issues in a timely and professional manner.
Stay up to date: Research new materials, technologies, and trends.
Manage projects: Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.

Requirements:

Knowledge of fit, measuring, and garment construction.
Must be willing to work freelance.
Must have sense of urgency and be able to handle multiple responsibilities at once.
2-5 years of experience.
