Job Title: CAD + Rendering Designer (Part-Time)
About the Role
Interior design studio working on high-end residential projects (including a large-scale Malibu home) is looking for a freelance CAD + rendering designer to support ongoing work.
This is a part-time role (10–15 hours/week) with potential to grow based on project needs.
What You’ll Do
- Create CAD drawings and assist with drafting sets
- Produce SketchUp / rendering visuals (Enscape, V-Ray, or similar)
- Make revisions and updates based on direction
- Support design presentations and project development
What I’m Looking For
- Strong AutoCAD + SketchUp skills
- Experience with rendering (Enscape, V-Ray, Lumion, etc.)
- Good design eye (not just technical)
- Fast, responsive, and detail-oriented
- Able to take direction and execute efficiently
- Based in Los Angeles preferred
Important
- Role is structured around a weekly cap of ~10–15 hours
- Work is assigned in clear blocks and deliverables
- Looking for someone reliable and collaborative, not managing a high volume of clients
- Must be comfortable working within an established workflow
