Role Description
We’re hiring a Social Media Manager at Poly & Bark.
This is a part-time role based in Los Angeles. You’ll be working closely with our Art Director to bring the brand to life across our social channels, translating creative direction into content that feels considered, consistent, and on-brand.
This isn’t a behind-the-scenes role. You’ll be regularly on-site at our warehouse capturing content, so being local and comfortable working in person is essential.
You’ll be responsible for planning and scheduling content, shaping the feed, and creating UGC-style videos that feel natural but elevated. A big part of the role is being on camera, filming and editing your own content, and turning it into strong, engaging reels.
We’re not looking for trend-chasing. We’re building a brand with longevity, so taste, restraint, and a strong point of view matter.

Plan and manage the social content calendar
Capture content on-site at our warehouse
Film and edit UGC-style video content for social
Schedule and publish posts across platforms
Maintain a consistent, elevated brand presence
Monitor performance and refine content over time
Collaborate with the Art Director and wider team

Requirements
Based in Los Angeles and able to travel to our warehouse regularly
Confident filming and appearing on camera
Strong editing skills, with experience using tools like CapCut
Experience managing social media accounts for a brand
Strong eye for content, composition, and storytelling
Organised and able to manage multiple tasks at once
Clear, confident communication
