Jack is helping CourtLink hire!
CourtLink is the go-to platform for pickleball players to find courts and community across the East Coast and is expanding rapidly. We need a sharp, plugged-in social media manager to help us grow the brand presence and storytelling.
This role is open as a part-time Social Media Manager or as a summer internship. The current duration for the role is 2-3 months with opportunity to extend. What matters most is that you have existing social media experience, have the content to prove it, and are excited to dive in.
This is a strategy + execution role focused on creating clean, on-brand content efficiently and consistently. Loving pickleball is a definite bonus!
You'll work directly with our CEO and advisors, owning day-to-day content and shaping how CourtLink shows up online. Your posts will reach real players, your ideas will get real airtime, and your work will move fast.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, and Threads — planning, scheduling, and adapting on the fly as our product evolves.
- Collaborate directly with the CEO and advisors to translate company milestones, product updates, and community moments into compelling content. Potential to be “on site” at facilities and events, to capture content and also be a representative of CourtLink.
- Craft copy, source visuals, and publish posts with a consistent brand voice: Energetic, friendly, and community-first.
- Monitor engagement, surface trends in the pickleball space, and bring proactive ideas to the table weekly.
- Track and report on key metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth) and use data to iterate on what's working.
- Support community management: Responding to comments, engaging with players and facilities, and helping grow our audience
Qualifications
- Have hands-on experience managing social media — for a brand, organization, or your own audience.
- Know what makes content stop the scroll and can explain why something worked.
- Write clearly, quickly, and accurately with a distinct voice.
- Take initiative without waiting to be asked
- Thrive in fast-moving environments where the plan changes frequently.
- Have a genuine interest in pickleball, wellness, or community apps.
- Experience with Canva, CapCut, or short-form video editing.
- You play pickleball (or want to learn).
- Bonus: Prior experience at a startup or early-stage company
Benefits
- Direct access to a founding team building something from the ground up.
- Real ownership over a brand's social presence from early days.
- Flexible hours 10-15 hours/week (Part-Time, flexible schedule)
- Compensation: Paid, hourly — rate commensurate with experience ($720-$840/month depending on experience level)
- Applications reviewed on a rolling basis. Start date flexible (immediate start preferred)
