Our Client, a multinational toy manufacturing company is looking for someone to join their team as a Social Media Coordinator!
**This is an hybrid 6-month contract that takes place in East Aurora, NY**
**30 hour work weeks**
Required Skills &Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3 years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand, agency, or organization
- Strong knowledge of major platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, YouTube) and current trends
- Experience using social media management and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer)
- Proficiency in content creation, including writing captions and basic graphic/video editing (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
- Understanding of social media analytics and ability to track, interpret, and report on performance metrics
- Familiarity with paid social campaigns and boosting strategies is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns/projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
What You Will Be Doing
- Will lead the development, ongoing execution and management of social media activities on behalf of Mattel brands.
- Will support Mattel’s business objectives and evolve our digital footprint, emphasizing engagement, conversion and ensuring strong integration with and across the brand’s marketing campaigns.
- You will moderate and engage with our fans directly through our owned social channels.
- You engage with followers daily, with the goal of turning fans into customers.
