About the Role
We are looking for one motivated, teachable Freelance Content Writer to join our small team and help produce written content across email, the website, social media, podcast, and more.
This is not a traditional content writing role. You will not be pitching your own topics, writing Bible studies or devotionals, or building a personal portfolio. Instead, you will work inside a detailed, proven content system (using provided brand guidelines, writing samples, and AI-assisted tools) to produce and repurpose existing Equipping Godly Women content in Brittany Ann's established voice and style.
Think of this as less "blank page writer" and more "skilled editorial operator." You will be given the tools, the guidelines, and the training. Your job is to use them well, exercise sharp editorial judgment, and produce output that is indistinguishable from Brittany's own writing.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated writer with 1-3 years of experience who wants hands-on, personalized training in writing, content creation, AI-assisted workflows, and Christian content marketing — while getting paid to learn.
Responsibilities Include:
- Produce a wide variety of written content including emails, blog posts, social media captions, podcast transcripts, teaching outlines, and workbooks
- Use AI writing tools as part of the content production workflow, guided by detailed brand and style documents
- Match Brittany Ann's established voice, tone, and style exactly across all content types
- Repurpose existing EGW content into new or updated written materials
- Analyze past content performance metrics to inform content decisions and meet KPIs
- Incorporate feedback thoroughly and revise work until it meets brand standards
- Meet all deadlines independently without reminders
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- MUST have 1-3+ years of published, publicly available writing experience
- MUST submit links to writing samples with your application
- MUST have in-depth understanding of American Evangelical Christian culture
- MUST be able to write accurately and authentically for a Christian mom audience
- MUST be comfortable using AI writing tools as part of your daily workflow
- MUST be teachable and welcome direct, thorough feedback, including multiple rounds of revisions
- MUST be a self-starter who meets deadlines without being reminded
- MUST be able to accept payment via PayPal or Zelle
This Role Is a Great Fit If You:
- Have a solid grasp of writing and marketing fundamentals
- Can recognize when writing is off-brand, weak, or inaccurate — and know how to fix it
- Are detail-oriented and care deeply about getting things exactly right

- Are comfortable learning new tools and workflows quickly, including AI-assisted content tools
- Can produce consistent, quality work independently and on schedule
- Understand the Christian mom audience and are genuinely interested in serving her well
This Role Is NOT a Good Fit If You:
- Prefer to write in your own voice or build your own portfolio
- Are uncomfortable using AI tools in your work
- Get frustrated by detailed feedback or multiple revision rounds
- Need a lot of direction or hand-holding to complete tasks
- Have little knowledge of or interest in Evangelical Christian culture
