Double Check Vegan is hiring an excellent freelance writer/researcher to research and write copy for sections of a new animal related website with the potential to make a difference in the fight against the buying and selling of animals. Hourly pay, rate depends on experience. This is a short term position with potential to lead to much more work.
JOB DESCRIPTION

Compile accurate information on assigned topics from peer-reviewed scientific journals and mainstream publications.

Write copy for assigned sections of website, with footnoted sources.

Give input on how best to organize sections of website.
QUALIFICATIONS

Background in journalism, science writing, academic animal behavior, or social sciences preferred.

Ability to read dry scientific articles quickly to find relevant information.

Diligent researcher with a focus on accuracy.
