Position summary
As the director of content you will be responsible for the quality and quantity of all content created for our publication and marketing clients. This includes the flagship product of the company, Advantage Business Magazine. Expect to create and follow an editorial calendar and work with freelance writers to direct and proof articles. It is expected that the director of content will also interact with the business community in the North Florida area and source cover features of local businesses that are doing unique and innovative things. As a marketing company, Advantage B2B works with clients to accomplish specific marketing objectives. The director of content will have interaction with clients and is expected to write or direct blogs, white papers, videos, infographics, social media, emails, presentations and other variations of content.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the editorial team to accomplish client and magazine objectives
- Support strategic initiatives to accomplish client objectives. This may include but is not limited to:
- Website designs
- Pay-per-click campaigns
- LIVE event strategy and creation
- Public relations campaigns
- Online lead nurturing campaigns
Qualifications:
- 4 year marketing or public relations, journalism or marketing related degree
- 3+ years of experience preferred
- Proficient with understanding modern marketing strategies
Other requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a high energy environment
- Ambition, strong work ethic, and open to new ideas
- Be a self-starter with problem solving skills
- Be a career oriented individual
- Proven ability to multi-task and manage other team members
- Magazine production experience a plus
Travel
