A well-established consumer brand is seeking a detail-oriented Social Media Project Coordinator to support its social media, PR, and advertising team. This role is ideal for someone highly organized who enjoys keeping projects moving, collaborating cross-functionally, and working in a fast-paced creative environment.
What You’ll Do
- Manage day-to-day project coordination for social media and digital advertising initiatives
- Create, assign, and monitor tasks within a project management platform (e.g., Workfront or similar tools)
- Build and maintain weekly content calendars in collaboration with the Social Media Content team
- Coordinate product mailings to influencers, editors, and key partners
- Partner closely with the Creative Team to ensure timely delivery of content assets
- Oversee timelines and execution for display advertising (web banners) and paid social campaigns
- Assist with light creative direction and copywriting for captions, short-form videos, and graphics as needed
- Monitor social channels for user-generated and influencer content
- Support ad hoc projects such as competitor research, script writing, short-form video participation (TikTok/Reels), PR initiatives, and assistance with photo/video shoots
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 0–3 years of experience in project management, marketing coordination, or related roles
- Interest or background in social media, content creation, or digital advertising preferred
- Experience in marketing, direct sales, or beauty/consumer products is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Comfortable adapting quickly based on feedback
- Experience with project management tools (Workfront, Asana, Trello, Basecamp, etc.) preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
