Job Description:
This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media, has a sharp eye for design and video editing, as well as someone who excels at translating strategy into action, thrives on managing multiple moving parts simultaneously.
You’ll be responsible for producing engaging, platform content (a mix of videography, photography, and static graphic design). Other responsibilities will include executing campaigns across all platforms, optimizing performance, fostering regular communication with key stakeholders and ensuring consistent brand voice & relevance across social, serving as the operational backbone that the team's strategic vision.
Social Media Operations & Tactical Execution
o Plan and execute social media campaigns including platform coordination, and performance tracking
o Partner with appropriate members of social media team to implement performance metrics, identify optimization insights & opportunities, for tactical improvements to content and engagement strategies
o Maintain social media content calendars across multiple platforms, ensuring strategic alignment and brand consistency
o Monitor social media trends and platform updates, providing tactical recommendations for content optimization
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, design, or a related field preferred
• 2-3+ years of experience in social media management with demonstrated experience in operational coordination and campaign execution
• Excellent copywriting and communication skills and proven experience, content creation and coordination
• Strong graphic design, videography, photography, and video editing skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, , etc.)
o Please be prepared to provide a portfolio showcasing your best design work or standout social content that demonstrates your creative impact
• Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
• Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, best practices, and content optimization techniques
• Experience with social media management tools (Sprinklr preferred)
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and accountability
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Experience with social media analytics and performance reporting
Must have experience creating social media content. Products included will be pet care and filtration. Having a dog or access to a dog for social media posts/demonstrations is highly desired. Should feel comfortable being on camera (not camera facing as much as demonstrating). Must have experience with Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. Will be provided with software to create some content but will use cell phone as well to take creative videos. Monitoring social media . Will be interacting with senior managers -should have good project management and strategic thinking skills. Self-driven and able to work independently with minimal direction the majority of the time.
