Location: Bentonville, AR
As the Senior Manager, Communications – Content Experience & Creative, Social Media, My Local Social you will lead a team of three dynamic Regional Community Managers to educate and empower our associates via our digital and in person training programs for one of the largest social media initiatives in the United States - Walmart’s My Local Social program. Your primary responsibility will be in shaping the strategy, curriculum, and execution of the training - ultimately enabling Walmart store associates to create and share brand-safe social content that humanizes Walmart, builds affinity at the local level, and drives growth for our business.
As the face of the program to many across the organization, you will build strong cross-functional relationships across Marketing, Operations, Corporate Affairs, and regional field leadership; onboard new users to our platform; and champion best practices for creating engaging and strategic content on the company’s store-level Facebook and Instagram pages. In partnership with the Walmart Connect team, you will support shoppable commerce opportunities across the program. Your team will also help stores navigate sensitive issues and localized crises, providing empathetic and expert social media counsel to store leaders when they need it most.

- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Corporate Affairs, Marketing, Technology, and the Emergency Operations Center during localized issues or moments of crisis to ensure clear communication and effective support for stores, associates, and communities.
- Champion the My Local Social program alongside a team of regional leaders by practicing servant leadership, advocating for customers and associates, and embracing change.
- Partner with Marketing and Marketing Technology to define and track KPIs that serve as a north star for program success, building local affinity and supporting business growth through regular reporting and accountability.
