Job Title: Social Media Specialist (Part-Time, In-Office)
Position OverviewWe are seeking a creative, strategic, and highly motivated Social Media Specialist to manage and grow our social presence across multiple platforms. This role is responsible for content creation, copywriting, platform management, and community growth through engaging, brand-aligned storytelling.
At Havenlight, our mission is to Invite More Light into the world through artwork of Jesus Christ. We work with over 100 talented artists to share inspiring, spiritual art throughout the world. Social media plays a key role in helping us connect with our community, spread hope, and place meaningful reminders of Christ in more homes.
The ideal candidate is both detail-oriented and creative, comfortable on camera, and passionate about producing content that connects deeply with audiences.
This is a part-time, in-office position based in our American Fork, Utah office, working Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
Core Responsibilities- Manage all social media accounts across platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest
- Create and publish high-quality content, including short-form videos, graphics, and written posts
- Write compelling, on-brand copy for captions, campaigns, and promotional content
- Develop and execute strategies to grow engagement, reach, and followers across all platforms
- Track performance metrics and optimize content based on insights and trends
- Stay up to date on platform best practices, algorithm changes, and emerging trends
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to ensure brand consistency across all content
- Appear on camera when needed for content creation, storytelling, or promotional videos
Qualifications- Proficiency in content creation, including social media posts, videos, and graphics
- Strong understanding of major social platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest
- Experience editing photos and videos using tools such as CapCut, Canva, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and experience managing social media campaigns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creativity, strong attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team while also taking initiative independently
- Experience in content strategy, influencer marketing, or community building is a plus
