“Our client, a leader in Financial and Tax Software, is looking for someone to join their team as a Social Media Community Engagement Manager.
*This is a 5-month W2 contract with benefits offered*
The manager is looking for someone who has deep subject matter expertise and proven experience building and nurturing online communities, driving positive word of mouth and building positive brand sentiment.
What You Will Be Doing
- Actively engage with consumers on key social platforms (Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, X, Threads) to drive positive word-of-mouth and build brand loyalty.
- Collaborate with agency partners and internal teams across Marketing, Communications, and Customer Care.
- Support senior leadership during high-profile issues or crises, protecting and enhancing brand reputation.
- Leverage social listening tools (e.g., Brandwatch) to analyze VOC, track trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Analyze top-performing content, platform trends, and customer conversations to inform content strategy and optimization.
- Manage brand social channels, including posting, monitoring, and responding to customers.
- Escalate customer service requests as needed, serving as the first line of support for the customer experience.
- Provide strategic recommendations to help TurboTax excel across social platforms and audiences.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in social media community management or similar roles.
- Deep expertise in social platforms, community management best practices, and content strategy.
- Proven experience analyzing social VOC and delivering actionable insights to senior leaders.
- Hands-on experience engaging audiences on Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, X, and Threads.
- Skilled writer with experience managing content for diverse brands and channels.
- Experience using social listening tools like Brandwatch to track trends and themes.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
- Flexibility to work weekends or peak business periods as needed.
