A Senior Graphic Designer is needed on a freelance basis to join a growth-focused creative team. In this role, you will own the end-to-end design of high-impact marketing assets that educate, engage, and convert users across a large digital ecosystem. You’ll partner closely with Product, Marketing, and Operations stakeholders to translate complex product narratives into clear, compelling visual stories that drive measurable growth.
What You’ll Do
- Design and deliver high-quality assets across key marketing channels, including CRM (email, push, in-app messages), in-app placements, and paid media (social, display, and performance ads), while meeting fast-paced, quick-turn deadlines.
- Collaborate with DRIs and Project Producers to intake, triage, and prioritize design requests, balancing volume with quality to ensure on-time delivery and consistency with brand standards.
- Partner with Product and Marketing teams to interpret new features, promotions, and benefits, turning product concepts into intuitive, visually engaging stories that clearly communicate value to consumers.
- Develop modular design systems and asset templates that can be reused and iterated on across campaigns, markets, and channels.
- Maintain highly organized, non-destructive design files in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, using best practices such as components, auto layout, clear layer naming, styles, and libraries.
Brand & Strategy Responsibilities
- Help define, evolve, and document the visual direction for a subscription-based offering, translating brand and growth strategies into scalable guidelines, toolkits, and templates.
- Contribute to campaign concepts, visual platforms, and storytelling frameworks that build brand equity while supporting acquisition, engagement, and retention goals.
- Create polished, narrative-driven presentations and decks that clearly communicate design rationale, testing insights, and strategic recommendations to cross-functional partners and senior stakeholders.
- Use data, performance metrics, and experimentation results (for example, A/B testing) to refine creative approaches, exploring variations and hypotheses that improve effectiveness over time.
What We’re Looking For
- Approximately 8+ years of professional design experience, with a focus on digital, marketing, or product-adjacent creative work.
- A portfolio that demonstrates:
- Brand-building work (campaign concepts, identity systems, visual storytelling, presentations).
- Growth-oriented design (CRM, lifecycle marketing, paid social, display, performance creative, and A/B test variations).
- Proven ability to craft impactful visual content for web, email, in-app surfaces, social/paid media, presentations, and integrated campaign assets.
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to present, articulate, and defend design decisions to senior, non-design stakeholders in a structured and strategic way.
- Demonstrated experience simplifying complex product and business concepts into accessible, on-brand visuals and narratives.
- Track record of working effectively in fast-paced, highly cross-functional environments, collaborating closely with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with particular strength in After Effects for light motion and animation work.
- Experience in technology, media, or digital advertising environments is strongly preferred.
