Overview
This role supports the day-to-day social media presence, helping keep the company's national brand active, engaged, and growing across all platforms.
You’ll be the digital voice of the brand—jumping into conversations, engaging with followers, spotting trends, managing community chatter, and helping build a strong, loyal online presence.

Key Responsibilities
Daily Engagement & Community Building
- Foster engagement across social platforms by responding to comments, liking/sharing, joining conversations, and encouraging community interaction.
- Manage and secure permissions across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X.
- Support incoming inquiries via Diablo and Freud brand inboxes—respond or route as needed.
Content, Trends & Execution
- Help maintain and update content calendars in partnership with the Content Lead.
- Assist with drafting captions, simple posts, and on-brand engagement replies.
- Research trends, hashtags, and rising content formats to spark fresh ideas.
- Push creative boundaries with “cool,” trend-worthy, on-brand content.
Influencer & Community Relationships
- Identify and engage with influencers, creators, loyalists, and brand advocates.
- Track UGC and brand mentions across platforms.
Monitoring, Research & Reporting
- Monitor competitive social activity and emerging industry trends.
- Perform research to support marketing goals and campaign planning.
- Pull weekly/monthly analytics on engagement, impressions, follower growth, and ROI; summarize insights for leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, social media, digital media, or related field.
- 1–2+ years of hands-on social media experience (internships count).
- Experience executing or supporting organic and/or paid social campaigns.
- Comfortable being the “digital voice of the brand” with strong editorial judgment.
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with analytics tools, content optimization, and community management best practices.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, and how each platform behaves differently.
- Experience in tools, construction, DIY, or enthusiast-driven communities is a plus but not required.
- Organized, collaborative, creative, and eager to bring ideas to the table.
