This role is ideal for a creative and strategic social media professional passionate about building personal and company brands in the tech sector. You will work directly with the founder/CEO of a fast-growing AI startup to establish a strong online presence across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and X. The focus is on developing and executing content strategies that position the founder as a tech influencer, while also elevating the company’s profile to attract users, clients, and investors. The position is based on-site in New York, offering the opportunity to collaborate closely with the leadership team and capture authentic, engaging content that reflects the company’s mission to make AI safe, secure, and accessible.
Deliverables
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy for both the founder and the company.
- Generate trending content ideas tailored to the tech and AI industry.
- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos, reels, and posts for multiple platforms.
- Manage the posting schedule and ensure consistent, timely content delivery.
- Monitor engagement, analyze performance metrics, and adjust strategies to maximize reach and impact.
- Collaborate with the founder to capture authentic moments and thought leadership content.
- Build and nurture an engaged online community, responding to comments and messages as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and video editing, preferably within the tech or startup sector.
- Strong skills in camera operation, video production, and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Deep understanding of platform-specific best practices for Instagram, LinkedIn, and X.
- Ability to identify and capitalize on emerging trends in tech and social media.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual storytelling and branding.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be available to work on-site in New York.
