Boichik Bagels is seeking a talented Graphic Designer with food & beverage experience to help create consistent, high-quality branding across our growing company. This role is ideal for a designer who understands how food brands show up visually, both in-store and online and can translate brand identity into compelling, functional design.
About Boichik Bagels:
Founded in Berkeley and inspired by classic New York–style bagels, Boichik Bagels has expanded across California and continues to grow in Los Angeles. We are deeply focused on quality, community, and brand consistency—and we’re looking for a designer who shares that mindset.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Design and update brand packaging
- Create marketing materials such as flyers, store posters, signage, and table tents
- Design coupons, business cards, and miscellaneous print assets
- Create social media graphics and campaign assets
- Assist with food truck and delivery van wrap designs
- Help maintain and evolve consistent branding across all store locations
- Collaborate with the marketing team on promotions, launches, and events
- Support additional creative projects as the brand continues to grow
Must-Have Qualifications
- Previous experience working with food & beverage brands (required)
- Strong social media design experience (required)
- 1–3+ years of professional graphic design experience (in-house, agency, or freelance)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Strong understanding of branding, typography, layout, and color
- Experience designing for both print and digital
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly
Bonus (but not required):
- Packaging or large-format design experience
- Experience with signage, vehicle wraps, or experiential design
