Overview
We’re a design-focused studio seeking a part-time Marketing Coordinator (Freelance) to execute our existing marketing plan. This is an execution-first role—strategy, messaging, and priorities are provided by our founder and marketing strategist.
Your role is to bring these plans to life consistently and professionally across content, email, social media, and light paid media.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating content from clear direction, scheduling and publishing, and keeping marketing operations organized.
Hours & Budget
- 6–8 hours per week (approximately 24–32 hours per month)
- $1,000–$1,400 per month
- Fully remote
- Bonus if you’re local to the Raleigh area and available for content capture once per month
Responsibilities
Content Creation & Publishing
- Write and format 2 blog posts per month (800–1,000 words each) from provided outlines
- Build and schedule 1 monthly email newsletter
- Create and schedule 2 social media posts per week (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
- Execute the content calendar consistently
- Ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
Paid Media (Execution Only)
- Set up campaigns on Meta and Google Ads from provided strategy and assets
- Perform light monitoring of active campaigns
- Share high-level performance updates with the strategist
- Note: Strategy, targeting, optimization, and creative direction are handled by others.
Coordination & Reporting
- Track marketing tasks and deadlines
- Manage revisions and approvals efficiently
- Communicate clearly around questions or blockers
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in marketing execution, social media, or content creation
- Strong written English and attention to detail
- Familiarity with social scheduling tools, email marketing platforms, and basic paid media interfaces
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable following brand voice and direction
- Experience with creative or service-based brands is a plus
