About The Role
We're seeking a hands-on
Social Media Coordinator who loves creating content, understands social trends, and knows how to turn ideas into engaging videos.
This is a content-first position. You'll regularly film, edit, and publish original content, appear on camera, participate in live social experiences, and help grow our online community.
We're looking for a creator, not just someone who schedules posts.
This position may be on-site, hybrid, or remote depending on the candidate's location and business needs. Candidates must be able to independently produce high-quality content regardless of their work arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Production
- Film, edit, and produce engaging short-form videos, Reels, TikToks, product tutorials, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Regularly appear on camera, demonstrate products, and participate in or host TikTok Live and other live sessions.
- Capture content featuring products, team members, launches, events, and brand activations.
- Create graphics, captions, and platform-specific content using CapCut, Canva, Adobe, or similar tools.
Social Media Execution
- Schedule and publish content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, and other relevant platforms.
- Support the social content calendar, campaigns, product launches, and promotions.
- Monitor trends and proactively pitch creative ideas aligned with our brand.
- Ensure all published content meets brand, quality, and accuracy standards.
Community Engagement & Creator Support
- Engage with followers through comments, messages, and social interactions.
- Identify and escalate customer concerns or sensitive conversations.
- Support creator collaborations, user-generated content, and influencer activations as needed.
Performance & Collaboration
- Track social media performance, engagement, reach, and content effectiveness.
- Use performance insights to improve future content.
- Collaborate with marketing, creative, e-commerce, and other teams to execute campaigns and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional social media or content creation experience.
- Demonstrated ability to personally film and edit short-form video content.
- Proficiency with CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and emerging social trends.
- Comfortable regularly appearing on camera and participating in live social content.
- Strong creative instincts, writing skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and respond positively to feedback.
- Passion for beauty, haircare, textured hair, and digital culture.
- Availability to support occasional events, shoots, or live sessions outside standard business hours.
Preferred: Experience creating content for a beauty, haircare, lifestyle, or consumer brand. Familiarity with TikTok Shop, Sprout Social, and social-commerce content is a plus.
