A large utility company located in Bellevue, WA, is currently hiring for a Social Media Coordinator. The Social Media Coordinator will support the company's brand and marketing enablement team and the Social Media Program Manager by taking ownership of content calendars, social monitoring, reporting, and analytics, and supporting the creation of engaging content for the company's social profiles on various social media channels. They will also serve as day-to-day community manager, interfacing with customers, the Customer Care Center, and various internal stakeholders to provide first-class customer service.

Pay: $35/hr. - $45/hr. (Depending on experience and industry)
Location: Bellevue, WA (50% On-Site / 50% Remote)
Contract Duration: 12 Month Contract (Potential for extension or conversion to permanent employee)
(Responsibilities)
- Assists Social Media Program Manager with developing social media content, promotions, etc.
- Maintains and develops content from the evergreen social media content calendar to increase the cadence of content.
- Provides social listening support, including compiling owned platform social listening stats and reporting support.
- Support platform community management, responding to customers, interfacing with the Customer Care Center, and coordinating with the media team to develop answers to customer questions.
- Daily monitoring and regular reporting on the company's social media channels.
- Keeps track of social media trends and competition.
- Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content.
- Serves as Social Media Lead during storm and emergency activations.
(Qualification Requirements)
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a relevant field.
- 2-4 years of experience managing corporate social media channels and/or experience in an external communications role.
- Huge bonus if someone comes from a similar utility, energy, energy or construction industry.
- Excellent written communication skills with emphasis on proofreading and grammar.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience using corporate brand standards and familiarity with design terminology.
- Experience using social media analysis tools.
- Ability to manage detailed tasks and interact effectively with a range of team members and creative agencies and vendors.
- Experience using Sprinklr as a social media management tool.
- Experience creating and editing assets for social media using Canva.
- Experience using Smartsheet as a collaboration and project management tool.
- ***Must be comfortable submitting to a drug screening (including THC screening) upon onboarding***
- ***Must be local to Bellevue, WA, as relocation will not be considered at this time***

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
