Teemart Decorated Apparel is a custom apparel and promo shop in Humboldt Park, Chicago. We’re looking for a creative, reliable content creator to shoot, edit, and post our short-form video. This is a hybrid role: one in-person shoot per month at our shop, with editing and posting done remotely.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Come to our Humboldt Park shop once a month for a shoot (about 3–4 hours)
- Film our products, equipment in action, and behind-the-scenes work. That includes embroidery, screen printing, DTF, UV printing, and laser engraving.
- Edit 12–13 short-form videos per month, with captions and on-screen text
- Post 3x per week to TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, following a weekly mix:
- Educational: show what we’re making and how it’s done
- Capabilities: show off our services, like our Press On Site live activations
- Sales: get businesses to hire us for bulk orders, live events, or branded gift kits
PAY
- $400 per month, flat fee, paid via Zelle
- You’re paid for finished, posted content, not hours
- This is an independent contractor (1099) position
- We start with a one-month paid trial
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience shooting and editing short-form video (phone or camera is fine)
- You know what performs on TikTok, Reels, and Shorts: hooks, trends, pacing
- Comfortable with CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
- Dependable. You show up to the shoot and keep the posting schedule.
- College students and recent grads welcome. This is a strong portfolio piece.
NICE TO HAVE
- Interest in fashion, streetwear, crafts, small business, or custom products
- Your own social accounts or personal brand with content you’ve made
- Your own equipment and editing software
