CMX is looking for a Senior Manager of Content Marketing Strategy to lead the content engine for CVS Media Exchange, the retail media network of CVS Pharmacy. This role will own how CMX shows up in the market, from what we say and how we say it, to where and when we show up. You’ll develop and execute a differentiated content strategy that strengthens the CMX brand, establishes our point of view in retail media, and drives meaningful engagement with advertisers, agencies, and industry audiences. You’ll serve as the editorial lead for CMXs owned channels, including LinkedIn, the CMX website, and newsletter, and will extend that storytelling through earned and paid media. You’ll translate business priorities, consumer and shopper insights, product innovation, industry trends, and CMX expertise into compelling content that makes complex ideas accessible and gives our audiences a reason to engage.

This is a hands-on role. We’re looking for a strong content strategist and storyteller who can both set the strategy and create the work-someone who understands the retail media landscape, can develop a sharp point of view, and knows how to turn that POV into content that earns attention. You’ll partner closely with the brand and marketing team to create an integrated external marketing engine across content, industry moments, events, thought leadership, and earned media. You’ll also work across CMX, CVS Health, and external agency partners to bring the brand to life consistently and effectively.

5-7 years of experience in content marketing, brand marketing, communications, editorial strategy, or other related field, preferably within B2B, advertising, media, technology, commerce, or retail
Demonstrated experience owning a content strategy and editorial calendar across multiple channels
Strong understanding of the retail media, commerce media, digital advertising or adtech landscape, and the ability to independently develop credible content and POVs on industry topics

Experience developing thought leadership and earned media programs preferred
Experience partnering with PR/communications teams and/or external agencies preferred
Experience with product marketing or marketing for a digital media platform preferred
