Social Media Manager
Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid - 3 days/week in office)
About the Opportunity
A growing company in the trading and financial services space is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead day-to-day management and growth of its organic social media presence. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to engage niche, passionate communities and can independently manage content planning, publishing, audience engagement, and performance tracking across multiple channels.
You'll work closely with marketing and creative partners to execute a social strategy that increases brand visibility, community engagement, and audience growth.
What You'll Do
- Own and manage organic social channels, including X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Discord
- Build and maintain proactive content calendars aligned with marketing initiatives and company objectives
- Write engaging social copy tailored to each platform
- Schedule and publish content using tools such as Sprout Social or Hootsuite
- Monitor community conversations and engage with audiences in real time
- Translate company updates, promotions, and announcements into audience-friendly social content
- Track and report on engagement, reach, growth, and content performance
- Partner with creative resources by developing clear briefs and content requests when needed
- Identify opportunities to improve social engagement and grow online communities

Qualifications
- 3+ years of social media management experience for a brand or organization
- Experience developing content calendars and managing day-to-day social operations
- Hands-on experience with Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar social management tools
- Strong social copywriting and community management skills
- Experience using Canva and/or Figma templates to create routine social content
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and performance reporting
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
Preferred Background
- Experience in trading, fintech, investing, brokerage, financial services, cryptocurrency, sports betting, gaming, fantasy sports, or other highly engaged online communities
- Experience managing social communities with active daily engagement and audience interaction
- Familiarity with Discord and community-driven platforms
