Job Details
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Fashion Designer with a strong background in apparel product development, fit evaluation, and consumer-focused design. This role will be responsible for supporting the full apparel development lifecycle, from concept creation and product design through wear testing, fit optimization, and production readiness.
The ideal candidate brings experience working within fast-paced fashion, apparel, or e-commerce environments and understands how to translate customer feedback, fit performance, and market trends into commercially successful products.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop apparel products from initial concept through production.
Manage the apparel development process, including sample reviews, fit sessions, and product refinement.
Conduct wear testing and fit evaluations to ensure products meet customer expectations.
Organize and manage consumer focus groups to gather feedback on fit, comfort, design, and quality.
Coordinate sample management and communication with manufacturing and supplier partners.
Analyze structured consumer and fit feedback to drive product improvements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, sourcing, and merchandising teams.
Evaluate fabric performance, garment construction, and functionality across product categories.
Research trends and consumer preferences to support product innovation and category growth.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field.
2-3+ years of apparel design and product development experience.
Strong understanding of garment construction, grading, fit evaluation, and apparel manufacturing.
Experience managing apparel products through the full development lifecycle.
Knowledge of fabric behavior, performance characteristics, and quality standards.
Ability to interpret consumer insights and translate feedback into product enhancements.
Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on continuous product improvement.
Preferred Background
Experience supporting fast-growing fashion, apparel, activewear, or e-commerce-focused brands.
Exposure to direct-to-consumer and social-commerce-driven product development environments.
Experience leading wear testing programs, fit reviews, focus groups, or consumer product evaluations.
Strong understanding of modern consumer expectations related to apparel fit, comfort, quality, and performance.
Experience working with trend-driven, digitally native, or high-growth retail organizations is highly preferred.
