Position Title: UI/UX Designer
Provide locations/flexible work by preference:
Most Preferred – Pittsburgh, PA Cleveland, OH Birmingham, AL Dallas, TX Phoenix , AZ
Ability to work remote: 5 days onsite, flexibility can be discussed.
Acceptable time zone(s): EST only
Days of the week: M-F 40 hours
Working Hours: M-F 8-5 EST
Intended length of Assignment: ~4 Months to start

Function of the Group: Were responsible for the customer facing and employee facing design systems. That’s the most widely used design system. We work on a set of design standards that all of online banking and drives efficiency with the internal development teams that are building.
Initiatives/Projects: For 2026, the resource will be continuing to evolve the library for internal employee usage as a result of new demand / redesign work for employees supporting Private Bank customers.
Industry background: Design System experience/background huge plus
Team Dynamic: A large team that’s working across the primary design systems 9 designers total, 3 designers on internal employee design system pod.

Primary responsibilities & Required Skills & Experience
- Create and update documentation and graphics for design docs
- Build, fix, and test Figma components
- Create dev specs
- Design and test Angular components
- Collaborate with content and ADA accessibility partners
- Stay up to date on competitive analysis of other design systems
- Answer help desk questions
- Attend or facilitate open office hours
- Attend or facilitate early Design Reviews with product designers
- Attend or facilitate design system Design Reviews
- Attend or facilitate design system governance meetings
- Research, audit, and prepare topics for design system governance meetings
- Attend or facilitate working sessions across product design teams to align
- Work on special projects as requested
Required Skills & Experience
- Product Design: 7+ years of experience in Product, UI, and UX Design
- UX Design: 12 years of experience
- Figma: 5 years of experience
- Wireframing & Prototyping: 14 years of experience
- Basic HTML/CSS Knowledge: 16 years of experience
- WCAG Accessibility Standards: 5 years of experience
- Technical Documentation: 1+ year of experience creating documentation using Confluence or similar wiki platforms
- Issue Tracking & Work Management: 1+ year of experience using Jira or similar ticketing systems
- Adobe Creative Suite: 3+ years of experience
- Design Facilitation & Presentations: 4+ years of experience presenting and facilitating using established design systems
- Systems Thinking: Demonstrated ability to understand and design across complex systems
- Communication & Collaboration: o Strong verbal and written communication skills o Detail-oriented approach o Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
