Futures Training Center | 15–20 hours/week | Employee pay: $35/hour
Futures Training Center helps baseball athletes develop through coaching, sports performance training, and technology at our Corona and Long Beach facilities.
We’re looking for an organized, proactive marketer who understands competitive sports and can connect with both athletes and their parents. A sports background is strongly preferred; baseball experience is especially valuable. That experience could come from playing, coaching, working in athlete development, or marketing to sports families.
You’ll work directly with ownership and our content creator to turn program priorities and finished content into effective campaigns. Ownership establishes offers and business priorities; our content creator supplies videos, photos, and graphics. You’ll coordinate execution, identify gaps, and improve performance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain weekly and monthly campaign calendars; coordinate deadlines, content priorities, and missing assets.
- Write captions and calls to action; schedule posts and assemble Stories for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Repurpose suitable content for YouTube and LinkedIn.
- Monitor comments and messages, engage with our audience, and route inquiries to sales.
- Build, monitor, test, and optimize Meta advertising within approved budgets.
- Draft, prepare, test, and send approximately eight marketing emails and one SMS campaign per month, with initial guidance from ownership on program details and brand voice.
- Maintain audience segments, contact lists, and reusable email/SMS templates.
- Organize the Dropbox content library and track opportunities to reuse existing assets.
- Make routine Wix Studio updates to program pages, landing pages, pricing, and promotions; maintain basic SEO and test forms and lead routing. Prioritize improvements within available capacity.
- Maintain both Google Business Profiles, including business information, updates, and coordinated review responses.
- Review marketing results and recommend improvements.
- Use AI tools to improve efficiency while checking accuracy, quality, and brand voice.
What we’re looking for
- Hands-on Meta advertising experience, particularly lead generation.
- Strong writing that resonates with athletes and communicates clearly with parents.
- Understanding of athlete development, seasonal training needs, and how families evaluate training programs.
- Reliable organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Experience with social publishing, email campaigns, and basic website updates.
- Ability to interpret results and make practical adjustments.
- Familiarity with Wix Studio, Loomly, and Dropbox—or the ability to learn comparable tools quickly.
Success in this role
Timely campaign launches, consistent publishing, accurate messaging, valid inquiries, and improvements in cost per inquiry and website conversion.
Engagement options
The employee opportunity is a remote, part-time W-2 role at $35/hour for approximately 15–20 hours per week. Established independent marketing businesses may also submit services proposals; contractor arrangements will be considered where legally appropriate under a separate agreement.
