Position Summary
The Junior Graphic Designer supports the Creative Services team in developing visual materials for marketing, sales, training, conventions, physician education, digital campaigns, and internal communications. The role focuses on producing high-quality, brand-compliant creative materials while managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
• Create and revise marketing collateral, brochures, sell sheets, advertisements, presentations, digital graphics, event materials, and training assets.
• Support product launches, conventions, marketing campaigns, physician education programs, and internal communications.
• Prepare design concepts, layouts, mockups, and final production files.
• Update, resize, format, and prepare creative assets according to project and vendor requirements.
• Perform high-volume production work and update existing creative assets.
• Ensure materials follow established brand standards and applicable review/compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Training, Physician Education, Conventions, and other internal teams.
• Coordinate with printers, vendors, agencies, and internal teams to meet production timelines.
• Maintain organized project files and support digital asset management and archival processes.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• Present concepts and work-in-progress designs during creative reviews and incorporate stakeholder feedback.
• Stay current with design best practices, production methods, accessibility considerations, and creative technologies.
Required Qualifications
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of graphic design experience, including internship experience, or a portfolio demonstrating strong design fundamentals and production capabilities.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly:
o Adobe InDesign
o Adobe Illustrator
o Adobe Photoshop
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and ability to create/edit branded presentations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and other Microsoft 365 applications.
• Strong layout, typography, visual design, and production skills.
• Ability to take creative direction, ask questions, and incorporate feedback.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
• Familiarity with Figma.
• Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or Acrobat experience.
• Experience with digital asset management tools.
• Basic understanding of print specifications and vendor file preparation.
• Experience with digital advertising or publication ad requirements.
• Experience with JIRA, Optimizely, or similar project intake/workflow systems.
• Print production experience.
• Experience in healthcare or medical device environments (Not Required, candidates should be capable of learning medical terminology quickly)
• Interest in working within an internal creative agency environment.
