We are looking for a creative Social Media Specialist to support an active brand presence in Inglewood, California. This is a Long-term Contract opportunity for someone who enjoys blending content creation, platform management, and day-to-day coordination in a collaborative setting. The person in this role will help shape social media direction, produce engaging visual and written content, and keep activity organized across multiple channels.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and carry out social media plans in partnership with the team to strengthen engagement and brand visibility.
• Capture photos and short-form video content for use across digital platforms, ensuring materials align with campaign goals.
• Write clear, engaging captions tailored to each audience and platform while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
• Prepare, schedule, and publish posts across multiple social media channels according to the content calendar.
• Monitor platform activity, respond or escalate as needed, and help maintain an organized flow of social communication.
• Create basic visual assets and perform light video editing to support ongoing social campaigns.
• Track content performance and share observations that help improve future posting strategy.
• Provide general administrative and office support related to social media coordination and daily team needs.im
• Experience managing social media activity for brands, businesses, or organizations across multiple platforms.
• Ability to create original content, including photography, video capture, and social-ready creative materials.
• Basic design and video editing skills for producing high-quality content suited for digital channels.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to craft captions that are concise, engaging, and audience-appropriate.
• Familiarity with social media strategy, campaign execution, and day-to-day channel management.
• Comfortable handling administrative tasks and adapting to a variety of team support needs.
• Organized approach to scheduling, prioritizing, and managing multiple assignments in a part-time environment.
