Role Overview
As a Copy Editor for our captive automotive finance customer, you will shape and define our digital voice for a brand new first of its kind iOS customer mobile application This landmark app will empower millions of automotive customers to manage their finance accounts and payments directly from their mobile devices
We are looking for a wordsmith with a service oriented mindset who can blend clarity financial compliance and brand warmth You will become the premier voice of our brand ensuring every interaction from a button tap on the app to a response on the App Store feels helpful human and reliable
Key Responsibilities
Digital Copy UX Writing
- Mobile App Verbals Draft intuitive clear and actionable copy for the new iOS mobile app interfaces microcopy buttons error messages onboarding screens and push notifications
- Website Verbals Update and align web copy to support the new mobile application launch and ecosystem
- Legal Compliance Draft clear accessible Terms Conditions TCs and privacy disclosures for the mobile application translating complex financial legalities into user friendly language
Customer Engagement Reputation Management
- App Store Reviews Monitor manage and respond to iOS App Store ratings and reviews with empathy speed and helpful solutions
- Complaint Resolution Craft thoughtful service oriented responses to customer escalations feedback and complaints across digital channels
- Voice of Customer VoC Use customer feedback from reviews to advocate for copy and UX improvements within the product team
Qualifications Requirements
- Experience 3-5 years of experience in copywriting copyediting UX writing or digital content creation experience in fintech banking or the captive automotive finance industry is a major plus
- Customer Centric Mindset Deep passion for customer service and user experience ability to remain empathetic and professional when resolving customer pain points
- Adaptable Voice Proven ability to adopt an established brand voice and maintain consistency across diverse formats from rigid legal TCs to punchy app s and conversational review replies
- Communication Skills Exceptional editing proofreading and grammar skills with an obsession over details
- Collaboration Ability to work crossfunctionally with product managers UX designers legalcompliance teams and customer care groups
