This role offers an exciting opportunity for a creative and proactive social media professional to lead the digital presence for a well-established arts, crafts, and educational products brand. The position is hybrid, based in Wallington, New Jersey, with flexibility for candidates willing to travel. You will be responsible for developing and executing engaging content strategies, capturing and editing product photos and videos, and managing multi-platform posting to drive brand awareness, website traffic, and sales. The ideal candidate is passionate about content creation, understands the nuances of each social platform, and is comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
Deliverables
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
- Photograph products and create short-form video content, including Reels and TikTok videos, highlighting product features and craft demonstrations
- Write compelling captions and ensure posts are optimized for engagement and reach
- Link relevant Shopify products to posts to drive e-commerce traffic and conversions
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics, providing actionable insights to refine content strategy
- Conduct occasional on-site photography and filming sessions in Wallington, NJ, to capture product usage and demonstrations
Requirements
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands, preferably in the arts, crafts, or educational products sector
- Strong skills in photography, video creation, and editing for social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
- Proficiency with content creation tools and social media management platforms
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft engaging captions and calls to action
- Familiarity with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms for product linking
- Ability to work on-site in Wallington, NJ, as needed for content capture
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
