Schedule: Monday through Friday (3 days onsite)
Pay Rate: $35-45/hr DOE
Duration: 6 month initial contract with potential for extension
Our client, a medical organization, is looking for a Medical Writer to add to their team!
Medical Writer Responsibilities:
- Research, conduct interviews, and write long-form content for client publications including newsletters, bulletins, and briefs.
- Attend meetings with cross-functional stakeholders to gather information for stories and pitch new angles.
- Create story outlines and develop high-quality final content.
- Contribute to the development of executive speeches and presentations for leadership, including understanding the objectives and audience for each assignment, evolving previous speeches and slide decks for current needs, and adapting storytelling to match each executive’s individual tone and style.
- Workload is anticipated to be approximately 75% publication writing and 25% speechwriting.
Medical Writer Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in English, Communications, or other equivalent field required.
- 3-5 years of experience in medical writing, speech writing, journalism, or other equivalent.
- Experience with basic powerpoint presentation design required.
- Medical writing experience preferred.
- Experience writing feature articles preferred.
