Content Associate, Founder Brand (Contract)

Skipit is a browser extension that lets people skip a triggering scene or read a short summary as they watch, so they can finish the film instead of turning it off. We're pre-seed and raising. Our founder builds in public, and her audience is where a lot of that growth is going to come from.
We're looking for one person to own the back half of that: take the footage she shoots and turn it into a consistent, well distributed feed.
What you'll do
- Edit and deliver 7 short form videos a week from supplied raw footage, on a 24 to 48 hour turnaround
- Cross post across Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, with captions and hooks adapted per platform
- Keep the posting calendar current so nothing sits unposted
- Send a short weekly note on what performed and what you'd change
What we supply
- All raw footage, filmed and directed by the founder
- A written style spec with reference accounts, plus editing tools and account access
- Direct access to the founder, not a middle layer
You're a fit if
- Your editing is bright and editorial: animated word by word captions with a keyword in an accent color, mixed serif and sans type, hand drawn accents, punch in zooms, a clean warm grade
- You've run a real posting cadence before and can show handles, dates, and numbers
- You follow through without being chased
- You care about mental health, accessibility, or mission driven tech
Growth
This starts as a 3 month contract at a pre-seed rate. We're raising in the next few months, and scope and rate are reviewed at 90 days. Marketing here is being built from scratch, so the person who does this well grows with it.
