Company Description MOMENTS BY BRIM is the wedding content division of BRIM SOCIAL, a Los Angeles–based digital marketing and content creation agency. MOMENTS by BRIM specializes in wedding content coverage, capturing authentic, real-time iPhone photo and video content for couples and wedding vendors across Southern California. We partner with couples and vendors to deliver polished, shareable content within a few days.
Role Description The Associate Content Creator is a contract role responsible for capturing and creating engaging day-of wedding content using an iPhone. This is a field-based role covering weddings primarily in San Diego, Temecula, and Orange County, with occasional travel to other Southern California locations. Tasks include shooting photo and video coverage throughout the wedding day, capturing key moments in real time, light on-site editing and formatting for delivery, and maintaining a consistent, elevated aesthetic that aligns with the MBS brand. The role also involves coordinating with couples and vendors on-site, staying organized across multiple wedding dates, and communicating professionally and reliably throughout the booking process.
Qualifications
- Based in Southern California, ideally San Diego, Orange County, or Temecula/Fallbrook.
- Does not currently own or operate a wedding content creation business
- Available to work Friday through Sunday, including some holiday weekends
- Reliable transportation, with willingness to travel to wedding venues across the region
- iPhone 16 Pro or newer
- Strong eye for visual storytelling and comfort shooting in fast-paced, real-time environments
- Familiarity with major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest) and current content trends
- Excellent time management and composure under pressure (weddings move fast and require adaptability)
- Professional, personable demeanor when interacting with couples, wedding parties, and vendors
- Strong attention to detail and openness to feedback to refine content quality over time
- Prior experience in weddings, events, hospitality, or content creation is a plus
- Relevant education or training in photography, videography, marketing, or a related field is beneficial but not required
- Wedding content experience is not a requirement, but we'd love to see content that showcases your filming and editing style.
