5+8 | Houston, TX | Contract | Hybrid
We're a Houston-based creative agency looking for a Content Creator to join our team. We work across a wide range of clients and industries, so no two days look the same — one day you're filming at a restaurant, the next you're editing a reel or developing content for a totally different industry. We want someone who makes good content and understands why it works.
What You'll Do
- Develop social-first content concepts and shoot/edit short-form video and photography for clients, events, and campaigns
- Turn strategies and brainstorms into finished, platform-ready posts — including captions, hooks, and on-screen copy
- Source and organize existing assets when new production isn't needed
- Schedule and publish approved content
- Collaborate with strategists, designers, and other creatives across multiple accounts and deadlines
- Grow into greater ownership as you learn client brands and strategies
Must-Haves
- Strong social-first creative instincts and visual taste
- Experience shooting and editing short-form video
- Ability to turn a concept into a finished piece, across different brands and tones
- Reliable follow-through managing multiple deadlines
- Reliable transportation for local shoots and events around Houston
Strongly Preferred
- Photography experience (DSLR/mirrorless) and editing in Lightroom/Photoshop
- Video editing in CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar
- Agency or brand content experience, including leading shoots
- Familiarity with social strategy and content planning
Nice to Have: Graphic design/motion graphics, copywriting, social scheduling or project-management tools
Work Schedule
Full-time, hourly contract. In-office Tuesdays and Wednesdays, remote the rest of the week — with additional in-person availability needed for shoots and events that may fall on other days.
