Detailed Job Description:
Job Title : Senior Editor/Writer
Client:Entertainment Provider
Duration: 9 months (Extension/Conversion Based On performnace)
Location: Burbank CA 91502 / New York, NY 10036- Onsite
Pay Range: $48/hr. - $50/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Write and publish approximately one original digital article per day, depending on assignment complexity and other editorial responsibilities.
- Update existing articles to ensure information remains current, accurate, and useful to readers.
- Apply SEO best practices, including search intent, keyword targeting, internal linking, and content structure.
- Partner with editorial, marketing, publicity, programming, SEO, and other stakeholders to incorporate feedback and obtain approvals.
- Identify opportunities for new stories, evergreen coverage, and timely updates based on programming priorities, audience interests, and search behavior.
Required Qualifications:
- Significant professional experience as a Digital Editor, Writer, Journalist, or similar editorial professional.
- Experience working in a digital publishing environment, preferably a newsroom or high-volume editorial operation.
- Working knowledge of SEO and search intent and how they influence editorial decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working for a major entertainment publication, newsroom, or high-volume digital editorial organization.
- Familiarity with audience insights, search trends, and content-performance data.
