Position Summary
Evermark Group is looking for a Part Time Social Community & Advocacy Contractor to lead efforts in our growing our Social Media communities across four legacy skincare & body care brands; St. Ives, Caress, Pond’s & Noxzema. This role will own the day-to-day execution of communicating and interacting directly with our audience, seeding & gifting creators, influencers, derms, editors & fans at opportune moments, and bringing our products, ingredients, and brand points of view to life through actionable, meaningful relationships and campaign relevant moments.
This role is for someone who understands the beauty landscape as well as the nuances & swift movement of the social media space and knows how to capture the attention of existing and new audiences. You’ll balance strategic efforts with hands-on execution, manage curious & growing online communities, and interact with our social media communities on behalf of four brands with four unique voices and goals. You’ll work with the Social & Influencer team to ensure PR, creator and influencer advocacy efforts are fully integrated into Evermark’s broader brand & growth goals.
- Hours = Part Time - 25 hours
- Hourly Rate: $50-$60
Responsibilities
- Community management - Daily actionable items across all 4 brands (Pond’s, St. Ives, Noxzema, Caress)
- Like all tagged posts & mentions
- Comment on tagged & collaborative posts
- positively engage with direct audiences of creators/influencers on their tagged posts to attract new followers
- Respond to all inbox + hidden inbox messages across all 4 brands on Instagram & TikTok
- Social listening: Identify any celebrity, dermatologist, podcaster or other personality posting about brands to engage & gift product
- Proactive outreach: Reach out to relevant creators across brands for gifting/seeding opportunities (comment on their post & send a customized DM to ask for their shipping info to send along product)
- Work with Social & Influencer team on a regular basis to identify criteria of potential people to reach out to, per brand (Ex: Walmart/Target/Amazon haul creators across brands, acne creators, college students, athletes, teen moms for Noxzema, skincare lovers & makeup artists for Pond’s & St. Ives, fragrance/body/beauty creators & fans for Caress) which may change based on campaign, season etc.
- Identify key moments to jump into the conversation; Comment/insert brand voices into relevant social conversations, trending content, beauty/skincare related areas, or other opportunities on social for brand awareness & increased share of voice in the market
- Comment/like influencer content showcasing competitive brands or retailers to initiate conversation & brand awareness (Ex: comment on derm or influencer content showcasing Olay products from Pond’s handle, or Dove content from Caress’ handle etc.)
- Ordering, tracking & shipping Meet brand goals by achieving monthly cadence for sending product for all gifting/seeding opportunities
- Work with internal Excel document (per brand/campaign) and/or within CreatorIQ lists to keep track of gifted creators/influencers/fans
- Work with fulfilment center on ordering/shipping product across all brands, including product, card inserts, crinkle paper etc.
- Strong attention to detail on re-order of products & supplies as needed;
- Product priorities urgent approvals, planning & any projects we work on together will be during 9-5 EST hours
- Only expected calls to attend are weekly updates 30 minutes on Mondays to plan out any projects, discuss updates, provide feedback for the week
- Social team will provide any info as needed from brand managers/vendors/senior management
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience across consumer PR, social media community management, brand advocacy, or integrated communications, ideally within beauty or skincare
- Proven success leading earned gifting & seeding programs, community building, and brand activations
- Strong understanding of the beauty media landscape and creator and online fan ecosystem
- Obsessed with social media; can understand the difference between brand voices & can insert brands in social conversations and opportunities that make the most sense on an individual basis
- Digital-first mindset with ability to adjust brand voices across multiple channels
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to turn insights into action
- Confident, open communicator and relationship-builder who can move on actionable items quickly & seamlessly
- Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and loves building something meaningful
- Experience with social media platforms, social tools (CreatorIQ, Dash Hudson), and Excel are a must; experience with UGC tools like Skeepers is a plus
- Must have a 4-year degree from an accredited university
- Role is open to Tri-State area (NYC/NJ/CT) candidates only & may require occasional in-office days in Hackensack, NJ
