Job Summary:
Client is seeking a Content Designer/Technical Writer to join the Customer Success Content team and create clear, accurate, scalable content that helps customers confidently manage their business accounting needs with QuickBooks.
This role will focus on designing, editing, and validating Expert and Customer-facing content across QuickBooks products, including in-product experiences, self-service resources, and support content. The ideal candidate will have strong content design or technical writing experience, excellent editing and collaboration skills, and the ability to leverage AI-powered tools to improve content quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, edit, and validate Expert and Customer-facing content across QuickBooks products.
Create clear, accurate, and scalable content for in-product experiences, self-service resources, and support content.
Partner with Content Leads to deliver high-quality Expert and Customer-centered content.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Designers, and cross-functional teams to develop content aligned with customer and business needs.
Use AI-powered tools to draft, refine, optimize, and improve content efficiently.
Ensure content meets accessibility, legal, style, brand, and quality standards.
Review and validate content for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and usability.
Incorporate customer and expert feedback to continuously improve content experiences.
Use analytics, customer insights, and industry best practices to identify content improvements and opportunities.
Must-Have Skills:
1-3 years of experience in content design, technical writing, UX writing, or a related field.
Experience creating content for software products, digital experiences, or technology platforms.
Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and content organization skills.
Ability to create clear, concise, accurate, and customer-centered content.
Comfortable using AI-powered tools to draft, refine, and optimize content.
Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across product and content teams.
Ability to manage multiple content deliverables while maintaining quality and accuracy.
Understanding of content standards, accessibility, style guidelines, and quality requirements.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with fintech, banking, payments, bookkeeping, accounting, or financial products.
Experience creating in-product, self-service, help center, or customer support content.
Experience working closely with Product Managers, Product Designers, Content Leads, or Customer Success teams.
Experience using AI tools as part of a professional content development workflow.
Understanding of customer-centered content design and digital product experiences.
Experience using customer feedback, analytics, and research to improve content.
Industry Experience:
Experience in Content Design, UX Writing, Technical Writing, Product Content, Customer Success Content, SaaS, Software, FinTech, Accounting, Bookkeeping, Payments, Banking, Business Software, Digital Products, or Technology environments is highly preferred.
