Responsibilities
- Own the technical design process from development through production approval.
- Lead garment fittings independently and provide clear fit comments and pattern corrections.
- Develop and maintain technical specifications, grading, and construction details.
- Analyze garment fit and recommend pattern and construction improvements.
- Communicate fit revisions and approvals with vendors and factories.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or equivalent industry experience.
- 5+ years of Technical Design experience within apparel.
- Strong experience with both knit and woven garments.
- Previous experience conducting garment fittings independently.
- Strong patternmaking knowledge and the ability to recommend pattern corrections.
